Dr. Christina Koloniari
General Manager, Exhibitions Research Institute

Dr. Christina Koloniari received her B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Thessaloniki and completed her M.Sc. in Planning and Regional Development at Ludwig Maximillian Universität in Munich. In 1983 she completed her Ph.D. in Regional Development, while she has been a member of the Regional Science Association – Boston, USA since 1982.

Christina Koloniari has been working as a scientific partner in academic institutions in Munich since 1980, specializing in Regional Planning and Development, while since 1984 she has been conducting economic and technical studies for trade unions and industries in Northern Greece.

Until 2006, Dr. Koloniari was Head of the International Relations Department at Thessaloniki International Trade Fair, while she also organized educational seminars for employees of the major international exhibitions in Europe.

Since January 2007 she has been General Manager at the Exhibitions Research Institute, organizing training seminars on behalf of The Exporters’ Association of Northern Greece and the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece.

Christina Koloniari has a long experience in conducting researches and studies on the ongoing professional training; she also has as a prominent scientific activity, mainly during her stay in Munich, in the period 1979 - 1985.

The studies in which she took part focused on infrastructure and regional planning, transportation reformation and regional development.
