Yiotis Ioannidis was born in Alexandroupolis in 1956. He studied Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 1974 till 1980. From 1984, establishing TETRAS company, he works in Architecture of culture spaces and events, graphic, industrial and art design.

In 1991 he establishes ARTION, a company for designing and producing Modern Greek furniture. He is a member of the board of the Greek Secretariat of Industrial Design.

With TETRAS and its development into TETRAGON from 1999 he participates and represents the company in many important projects of Exhibition Architecture, with successful and longtime collaborations with ministries, big Institutes and companies from the Public and Private sector.

From 2006 he is on the board of HELEXPRO – Greek Exhibition Productions S.A., a subsidiary of HELEXPO into which TETRAGON is participating.
