Fiona Pelham is managing director of Organise This, an event management company focused on planning events in a way that is environmentally responsible and community involved.

She is Chair for BS 8901 an international sustainable event standard, which was launched Autumn 2007. Organise This was appointed to run the first trial of BS 8901 with the Manchester International Festival in June 2007 and achieved the first certified event with Meeting Professionals International European Conference April 2008.
Organise This is a founder member of Positive Impact, a not-for-profit project to provide education on sustainability to the hospitality and event industry.

In 2008 Organise This launched an online tool to support with the implementation and measurement of sustainability within an event. Organise This has been awarded the Manchester City Council Gold Environmental award and believe that events of all shapes and sizes can make a positive difference to the surrounding community, environment and economy.

Fiona is currently CSR & Regional Events representative for MPI UK Chapter.
