Dr Ioannis Kritsotakis received his Ph.D. in Commercial Sciences from the University of Vienna – Department of Economics. He is an Economic and Trade Fair Expert Consultant at the International Trade Centre (ITC), specializing in the fields of foreign trade and business communication.

Dr Kritsotakis regularly writes articles on the events industry and he has written a number of books on trade fairs and sales techniques, while he also has a long teaching experience as a lecturer in relevant training courses.

Dr Ioannis Kritsotakis first entered the world of trade fairs when he was still a student abroad. He is currently one of the exhibition field experts in Greece, having a 25-year professional experience in planning Greece’s national participations in international exhibitions.

Dr Kritsotakis started his professional career in Export Marketing abroad, while until 2005 he worked at the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO) from several management posts. Dr Kritsotakis is also a professor at the National School of Public Administration in Greece.
