Unternehmenspräsentation

The family winery was started in 1994 to cover the vinification demands of the privately owned vineyard in Peania in Attiki.

It includes a traditional stone building, constructed with materials and stone from the area of Peania. The wine-vault caters for the perfect temperature and humidity conditions for aging, which takes place in oak barrels that are renewed every four years.

Papachristou Vineyard is situated in the heart of the Mesogian plain, south-east of Peania in  Attiki, at Pelkezi site.

Until 1991, the wine variety "Savatiano" was cultivated, which was then replaced by the varieties Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The above mentioned varieties successfully adapted themselves to the edaphic and climatic conditions of the area.

"Kellari Papachristou" is open throughout the year for the Greek and foreign visitors who wish to become acquainted with and taste the products of Papachristou family.
